In Part 1 of this 2 part interview with triathlete Jay Gaffey, we unpack her training, mindset and journey to the truly epic Ultraman Triathlon, a 3 day endurance event comprising of a 10km twin, 421km ride and 84km run. Her build up was less than ideal, with a significant fall on the bike 2 weeks out leaving her unable to run and questioning whether she could do the event at all.
Learn how Jay and her amazing support crew took her from wondering if she could actually complete the distance, to winning the event and being the 2022 Ultraman Australia Champion.
